Working with local trees
The trees come to me from local gardens and orchards, sometimes it is a tree that has fallen or been felled, given new life as a product. Israeli trees have a special power, working with local olive or cypress is exciting. Fruit trees are great to work with - apricot, pear, strawberry, plum - with smooth and noble textures.
My workshop
I built my workshop with my own hands near my house in Yodpat. I brought the windows from the flea market. It's small but it has everything, there's light and there's nature, a collection of tools from my childhood dreams and lots and lots of sawdust and a wonderful smell.
